Organizational Restructuring
This summer season, on account of inner and exterior monetary pressures and the conclusion of a number of main grants, Georgia Organics made the tough determination to considerably restructure the group. Although now a workforce of 5, we’re devoted to creating this reorganization significant—supporting the group and farmers alike by way of this time of change.
Management Transition
As a part of this restructuring, the Georgia Organics Board of Administrators appointed me as Interim Government Director. As a long-time worker of the group and most just lately the Director of Packages, I hope to convey a gradual hand, a collaborative mindset, and mission-driven management to the group. I’m keen about serving to farmers thrive by way of collective motion and care. With deep roots in Georgia’s meals neighborhood, I’m devoted to guiding the group by way of this transition and into our subsequent chapter. I’m holding this place on an interim foundation, and the Board is engaged on a long-term management plan to roll out in 2026.
Program Transitions
As we transfer to a leaner construction, we’re reorganizing our employees to concentrate on Georgia Organics’ core mission of investing in natural farmers for the well being of our communities and the land. We’re taking inventory of our assets and our communities’ must see how they finest match collectively. With this refocus comes the necessity to pull again from a few of our current applications. So, by the top of 2025, we plan to pause 4 long-running programmatic initiatives whereas we strengthen our foundations:
