Vegan Chocolate Espresso Ganache Tart

For the crust:
½ cup vegan butter
⅓ cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
¾ cup finely chopped walnuts
1½ cups flour

For the filling:
1 cup chopped bittersweet chocolate
1¼ cups espresso
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
¼ teaspoon salt
⅓ cup slivered almonds (optionally available)
