The newly shaped Nice British Drinks Firm, backed by the household entrepreneurs behind Paramount Retail Group, has acquired Yorkshire’s Black Sheep Brewery in a £6.5m restoration deal.
The Nice British Drinks Firm was shaped in January 2026 to again regional craft beer.
The deal will save 145 jobs, the brewery and its manufacturers together with Purity Brewing Co, Brew By Numbers, Brick Brewery, North Brewing Firm, Magic Rock Brewing and Fourpure Brewing Co.
Ravi Sharma, co-founder of the Nice British Drinks Firm, stated: “This isn’t only a restoration deal, it is about restoring delight to Yorkshire. The area has a proud brewing heritage, and we couldn’t stand by and let that be misplaced. The subsequent few months shall be thrilling, the enterprise has some improbable folks, good prospects and a bunch of suppliers that we are going to be very focussed on rebuilding relationships with. The good British Drinks firm is open for enterprise and right here for the long run.”
Black Sheep Brewery is being acquired for a sum within the area of £4.5m and a future funding plan of over £2m shall be put in place to revive the enterprise again to development.
