The brewer constructed its distillery in Ellon, Aberdeenshire, in 2015 and based the spirits arm a 12 months later, with the way forward for the distillery to be reviewed at a later date, the BBC reported.
“After cautious consideration, we have made the tough choice to stop manufacturing of our distilling manufacturers, aside from Wonderland cocktails. This can enable us to sharpen our focus,” Brewdog mentioned in an announcement reported by the BBC.
Its canned cocktail model, Wonderland, will proceed to be produced by a 3rd get together.
The transfer comes months after Brewdog co-founder Martin Dickie departed from the corporate and drinks trade as a consequence of “private causes”.
