In partnership with Diageo Reserve, the Caribbean Cocktail Tour kicks off in January. The brand new initiative will unite three of the area’s most influential ingesting locations: Bon Vivants (Nassau, The Bahamas), Library by the Sea (Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands) and La Factoría (Outdated San Juan, Puerto Rico).
The month-long celebration of craft, tradition and island hospitality will happen over three weekends – Jan. 9, 23 and 30. The collection of cross-island pop-ups, academic classes, collaborative menus and cultural exchanges will work to redefine how the world sees Caribbean cocktail tradition and shine a light-weight on the expertise driving its international rise.
Past showcasing world-class craft, the collaboration additionally amplifies the voices of Caribbean bartenders, giving them a platform to share their creativity and form the subsequent period of hospitality throughout the area. Every workforce will journey to the others’ islands, internet hosting immersive takeovers and academic seminars that spotlight their signature types: Bon Vivants’ heat Bahamian craft, Library by the Sea’s literary-driven “liquid narratives,” and La Factoría’s Puerto Rican “Boricua” hospitality and Outdated San Juan vibrancy.
