A colourful, photogenic drink was requested to be featured throughout the video shoot for the Angler’s At all times June rooftop bar this previous spring. Given only some fast minutes to whip up one thing vivid and vibrant, I took the purple-hued bottle of Empress Gin as my inspiration and located that it matched the temper of the shoot: female, pure and poised.
I made a decision on a traditional gin drink, incorporating blackberries to reinforce the darkish colours. So as to add an surprising coloration distinction, I added an egg white after which lastly topped off with a fragile garnish of edible orchids.
